2024 Crush Tryouts Information
Welcome to the Clarence-Rockland Crush Tryouts for the 2024 season! We are excited to announce that tryouts are now open for U10 to U18 teams. Below you will find important information to ensure a smooth and successful tryout experience.
Territory Coverage
The Crush territory includes the current borders of the Rockland association, the Clarence association, the municipality of Alfred-Plantagenet, the section of Champlain Township north of Highway 17, and Hawkesbury. Players residing in the Township of East Hawkesbury will have a one-time opportunity to choose either the Clarence-Rockland Crush Rep B association or the Casselman-Embrun Icedogs Rep B association.
Home Association Registration and Payment:
To participate in the tryouts, players must be registered with their home association and have paid their tryout fee. We will confirm payment with each association before allowing players on the ice. Important Information for Players Trying Out for Tier 2 AA Eastern Ontario Cobras
- If your player is also trying out for the Tier 2 AA Eastern Ontario Cobras, we strongly encourage you to register early for the Clarence-Rockland Crush tryouts to guarantee your spot and secure the early bird discount. During the registration process, select the “pay later” option at checkout. You won’t need to pay the Crush tryout fee until after your player is released from the Cobras, if applicable. If your player successfully makes the Cobras team, we will cancel your Crush registration without any penalty.
- Don’t worry about potential schedule conflicts between the Cobras and Crush tryouts. Any conflicts will only involve non-evaluated sessions required for all players as per Hockey Canada player pathway requirements. Your child should prioritize attending all Cobras sessions first. If they are released from the Cobras, they can seamlessly join the Crush sessions thereafter.
- Register now to secure your spot and take advantage of early bird pricing, ensuring a smooth transition regardless of the tryout outcome.
